1st post is for Prabal. Prabal is fabulous because my name is still on the invite list and w/ crossed-fingers it'll be on there for seasons to come. PLUS, he played Grizzly Bear at his Spr '10 show.

2nd is for Bill Blass announcing a potential new designer, Jeffrey Monteiro. Looks promising. Now how to get on this list...

May be late on this video - but Love Grizzly Bear. Saw them at the last Pool Party of the summer, colored in the best Converse sneaker on the board, and didn't have enough ca$h on me for the Fette booth. The summer was pretty great, I'd hate to backtrack now, so I'll try to move forward w/ the blog as I move forward in life. Balancing a work, life, and blog balance.

yea...i was online

saw this on you know where, like it - few days after NY fashion wk...got to see prabal gurung's spring '10 show, was lucky enough to get an invite to his premiere fall '09 show. for those of you who forgot, i pimped him out on one of my earliest posts when i worked for bill blass (he kept bill blass afloat after MV left). now he's making A name for himself. a fabulous name. & with project runway kicking alive and well despite the move to LA (i know b/c i watch the episodes turned webisodes(i don't own a television(the recession is effecting us all))), the fashion industry is alive and kicking well as well. thus, i post the pic of the tokidoki karl lagerfeld toy. an ode to fashion. an ode to what's on your back that you admire from the front.

Debt or Die

Watched this on Netflix Watch Instantly today. Great documentary, right up there with...
Going back to "In Debt We Trust," I was excited to see to my old hood of Bedstuy. They filmed at the Rent-a-Center right around the corner from my old apt...Do or die, but in this case debt or die. Let's get out of debt together.
